Were Waiting For
HobbsGo is a pet care ecosystem covering fresh food, grooming, relocation and retail. Built by pet parents who came home from Europe and couldn't unsee what Indian pets were missing.
How HobbsGo Started
4 years in Lisbon.
Back home with a problem to solve.
We spent 4 years at VML Enterprise Solutions, Lisbon, building tech for global brands. Those years in Europe showed us what India lacked: fresh pet food, trusted groomers, a real care ecosystem. In 2025, we came home.
Our dog Hobbs kept switching between kibble brands. None worked. We tried everything. Nobody had a real answer. So we stopped buying and started cooking: fresh meals, calculated nutrition, right portions for his breed and weight. Hobbs thrived. We had something.
We refined the recipes, proved it worked, then took it wider. Store first. Then HobbsGo On Wheels: India's first complete retail pet store on wheels, carrying everything from fresh food to grooming products, accessible in your colony. Now on Swiggy and the HobbsGo app. What started as Hobbs' meal plan became a platform.

Every service HobbsGo offers exists because we saw a specific, real gap in Indian pet care - and couldn't find anyone solving it.
Trust & Sampling Gap
Pet parents hesitate when they can't see, sample, ask, or trust before buying. Online pet food is a leap of faith. Most stores have staff who have never owned a pet. Nobody to actually guide you.
HobbsGo On Wheels is a complete retail pet store on wheels. It comes to your colony so you can browse products, sample food, ask real questions and buy with confidence. No screen, no leap of faith.
Nutrition Blindspot
Pet parents have no way to know calorie needs, protein ratios, or suitable meals for their specific pet's breed, age & activity. Every bag says "complete nutrition." None of them mean it for your specific dog.
Our pet-profile guidance flow uses breed, age, weight, food habit and activity level to help pet parents discover more suitable food, treats and fresh meal options. For medical conditions, allergies or prescription diets, consult a qualified veterinarian.
No Fresh Option
Freshly cooked pet food exists only in expensive urban cafes, inconvenient and inaccessible for daily use. The rest of India eats from the same 24-month shelf-life bag, every single day.

Back in India, she co-founded HobbsGo after seeing what Indian pets deserved — fresh food, proper grooming, real community. At HobbsGo, Urvashi leads operations, the grooming salon and HobbsGo On Wheels.
