 Pre-Travel Preparations

  It is important to be prepared beforehand for your pet to travel. Here is a list of a few       things you need to keep in mind:

• Visit the vet and get your pet checked. Ensure your pet is fit for travel.
• If you can decide on the travel time, ensure it is either in the morning or evening, as your pet will be drowsy and it will be less sunny.
• Take your pet on small positive trips around your place. Take him to his favorite place in the car to make him happy so that he won’t get scared in the car.

• Book a pet-friendly hotel in advance for the best options if you’re traveling overnight with your pet.

  • Be sure to give your pet plenty of water and potty breaks.
  • You can remove the leash of your pet, but don’t remove the tag/collar; let that be intact.
  • Don’t let your pet keep its face out of the window, as it can be dangerous.
  • Never leave your pet alone in a parked car, even for a few minutes.
